The State Commissioner for Education Alhaji Umar Haruna has directed the acting Chairperson Hajiya Amina Umar to query twenty two teacher of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Education authority for absenteeism while the principal of Kunnawa Junior Secondary School was suspended with immediate effect.

Thecommissioner gave the directive when he paid unscheduled visit to some schools in the area.

AlhajiUmar Doguwa worried on the number of teachers attended schools on the time he visited the affected schools, saying that in Bagadawa Primary school as at ten o’clock only three teachers were present out of thirteen teachers of the school while in Dawanau Primary school, out of twenty eight teachers only sixteen were present with twelve not present.

In addition, the commissioner directed the principal of Kunnawa Junior Secondary school to hand over with immediate effect to the senior master of the school for not being in schools with cogent reason.

Theeffected officers were issued query to respond on or before Monday July 24th
