Arrangement have been concluded by the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board to commence a Comprehensive inspection of projects under the 2022 UBEC/ SUBEB intervention funds in the State.
The Director, Physical Planning, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Engineer Muhammad Shu’aibu Lakpa, disclosed that the exercise will commence on Monday the 14 th of August, 2023, simultaneously in the State.
According to Engineer Muhammad Shu’aibu Lakpa, in order to ensure effective projects monitoring the Board has constituted six(6) teams to cover senatorial districts under the supervision of Hon. Muhammad Musa Dan’azimi ( Barayan Daddare), Executive Chairman, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board.
The teams, among their terms of references; ensure the project is located at the appropriate school, community involvement, Local Government Education Authorities, SBMC , PTA other terms of reference to include proper coding of projects and remind contractors on projects time line and accompany reports with pictures. Their reports is expected to be submitted to the Executive Chairman of the Board, through the Director, Physical Planning.
It is believed that the team’s reports would also help the Board in its efforts to devise and implement better ways of improving Basic Education in Nasarawa State.
