CSC staff charges to shun any act capable to tarnish the image of the commission – Dr. Minjibir

The staff of the Kano state Civil Service Commission have been admonished to exhibit a high sense of responsibility in the discharge of their official duties.
The newly appointed chairman of the state Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Dr. Umar Shehu Minjibir (Garkuwan Minjibir) gave the charge today during a maiden meeting with the staff and management of the Commission held the conference hall of the Commission.
Dr.. Umar Shehu Minjibir explained that the Commission is the gateway to all civil servants and as such cautioned the staff to perform their duties professionally and always be guided by the civil service rules and extant provision of the service .
He further maintained that honesty, dedication and selflessness in the course of the service could only be rewarded by Allah and therefore, implored them to refrain from any act capable of reducing to the lowest ebb, the image of the Commission.
Soliciting the support and cooperation of the staff, Dr. Umar Shehu Minjibir assured the staff of the state government commitment and continued support to the Commission to achieve its desired objectives, explaining that the state Civil Service Commission will in no distant future be a pride of all the civil servants in the state.
In his remarks at the occasion, the newly appointed and posted Permanent Secretary Salahuddeen Habib Isa said the state Civil Service requires drastic reform and a person like Dr. Umar Shehu who iz equal to the task and capable to fix and move the Commission forward, with regards to his track record as former Head of Service, a position he held creditably well.
