KNSG determines to improve Civil Servants welfare- Dr.Minjibir

The chairman of Kano state Civil Service Commission, Dr. Umar Shehu Minjibir (Garkuwan Minjibir) has assured civil servants of the state government readiness to give the service a befitting facelift.
Dr. Umar Shehu Minjibir gave the assurance today while receiving the new Permanent Secretary of the Commission who assumed duty.
He said strategic reforms would be undertaken to streamline the system to ensure a robust and vibrant Civil Service in the state which has for the past few years suffered decay.
More over he informed that more workers welfare packages will come the way as His Excellency, the state Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf has assured of his support towards rejuvenating the Civil Service.
He described the Civil Service Commission as the bedrock of the service,.
Mean while Dr. Umar Shehu enjoined staff of the Commission and other Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAS) to be up and doing to achieve the desired result. While soliciting the civil servants continue support, the commission Chairman called on the people in the state to pray fervently for the state government to deliver on its campaign promises for the state government to deliver on its camp
In his address, the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Salahuddeen Habib Isa, while thanking the people that accompanied him to the Commission for their support and prayers, pledged to bring to bear his wealth of experience in his new assignment.
