BENUE SUBEB AG CHAIR PLEDGES SUPPORT TO STATE ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON BASIC EDUCATION

The Acting Executive Chairman, Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Mr Mzaga Iorhemba, has pledges to support State Assembly on Basic Education toward reviving Basic Education sector for betterment of Benue State children .
Mr. Mzega Lorhemba gave the assurance in his office when he received audience Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Basic Education, Hon. Abraham Zahemen Jabi, along with the committee’s members who were at the SUBEB headquarters to interact with Management Staff.

Speaking the Chairman’ of the Standings Committee on Basic Education Hon. Jabi said the visit was familiarization to introduce the leadership and members of the committee to SUBEB Management.
He added that the committees was saddled with the responsibility of developing budget, monitoring income and expenditure as well as offering support .

He assured the committee’s readiness to support the Board to be up to expectation in discharge their duties effectively.
“the 10th Assembly was committed to enhancing well-structured education and improving Basic Education.for the betterment of our younger generation” He affirmed
Hon. Jabi called for open communication between the board and the committee for better resolution on issues and timely action when the need arises.
In their salarates remark, member representing Konshisha State Constituency, Hon. Cephas Dyako, atOkpokwu constituency Hon. Agom Anthony and other committee members charged the Acting Executive Chairman to take advantage of the familiarization visit as an opportunity to interact with his team at the Board and Local levels to achieve seamless and effective operations.
In her vote of thanks Acting Director, Administration and supply Mrs Juliana Agbo appreciated the committee for the visit and looked forward to giving them all the support they needed to ensure improvement of Basic Education in the state.
