CPTA DALA LGEA MEETS SUBEB CHAIR

In its efforts to ensure effective teaching and learning in Basic Education Schools, Kano State Government has good plan to recruit more additional teachers.

The Executive Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board, Malam Yusif Kabir stated this at a meeting with the Executive members of Dala Local Government Central Parents Teachers (CPTA) when they paid him a courtesy visit in his office..

Malam Yusif added that the board is highly appreciative of the supports and congratulations by the Group at state, Local Government and School level then called on them to intensify the efforts for optimum results.

He restated that Government alone can not shoulder all education responsibility, therefore he solicited more support from the group to complement government effort in that direction.

In his remark, the Chairman CPTA Dala Local Government, Alhaji Zakari Abdullahi Ata said they were at Executive Chairman office to discuss with him on the issue of Teachers shortage in Basic Education Schools in the area .

He added that they were informed on the matter by the Education Secretary in view of this, they absolutely mobilized their members to the Board for immediate intervention.

The Chairman also congratulated the Executive Chairman Malam Yusif Kabir on his appointment by the Executive Governor Eng. Abba Kabir Yuisf.

“Your appointment is based on merit with regards to your vast experience in the sector, so we assured you our total support and cooperation” he added
Earlier the Education Secretary of the area,

Malam Hamid Baba Yalwa inform the Executive Chairman that Dala Local Government has Four Hundred and Thirty Five (435) Basic Education Schools out of which Eighty Eight were Upper Basic Schools nevertheless most of them are battling with teacher’s shortage.
