NASU Commends Governor Abba for Transforming Civil Service Conditions

The State Chairman of the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) under the Kano State SUBEB, Comrade Aminu Ali Maikudi, has applauded the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusif for significantly improving the welfare of civil servants across the state.

During his address at the Workers’ Day celebration, Comrade Maikudi acknowledged the governor’s commitment to timely salary payment, the provision of interest-free loans, and a renewed focus on staff welfare. He noted that workers who were previously demoralized have now found hope under the current administration.

“There is a new sense of purpose and dignity among workers. The administration’s approach has rekindled trust and boosted productivity,” he said.

He urged the state government to continue strengthening training programs, upgrading office facilities, and investing in modern equipment to ensure optimal service delivery. Comrade Maikudi emphasized that NASU remains committed to working hand in hand with the government to achieve sustainable progress in the education sector.
