NASU SUBEB Branch Felicitates with Governor AKY on His 2025 NEAPS Recognition

The Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU), Kano State SUBEB Branch, has extended warm congratulations to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, following his honour with the 2025 National Excellence Award in Public Service (NEAPS) for outstanding leadership.

In a congratulatory message endorsed by the Chairman of the NASU SUBEB Branch, Comrade Aminu Maikudi, the Union described the Governor’s recognition as a testament to his visionary approach to governance and his unwavering dedication to advancing the welfare of citizens, particularly within the education sector.

Comrade Maikudi noted that the Governor’s reforms—ranging from the rehabilitation of basic education facilities to the provision of instructional materials and improved staff support—have begun to yield meaningful results across public schools in the state. He added that such achievements clearly justify the national acknowledgment bestowed upon him.

The statement further highlighted NASU’s appreciation for the Governor’s inclusive leadership style, emphasizing that his administration has continued to carry along all categories of education workers, including non-teaching staff, in its development agenda.

The Union expressed optimism that this national honour would strengthen the Governor’s resolve to deliver even more impactful service to the people of Kano State.

NASU SUBEB Branch reaffirmed its commitment to supporting government efforts aimed at strengthening basic education and ensuring a conducive working environment for all state.
