NASU Condoles SUBEB Chairman Over the Death of Tijjani Shattima and Auwal Idris

The Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) State Universal Basic Education Board Kano SUBEB has conveyed its condolence message to the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Malam Yusuf Kabir, over the death of the Deputy Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Alhaji Tijjani Shattima, and the Education Secretary of Bichi Local Government, Malam Auwal Idris, who passed away in recent days.

The condolence message was delivered by the NASU Chairman, Comrade Aminu Maikudi, who expressed deep sorrow and grief over the painful loss suffered by the education sector in the state.

Comrade Aminu Maikudi described the late Tijjani Shattima and Malam Auwal Idris as dedicated, hardworking, and committed officers who contributed immensely to the development of basic education and the effective administration of government affairs.

He noted that their demise has created a significant vacuum that will be difficult to fill, not only within SUBEB but also across the entire education community in the state.

While offering prayers for the repose of their souls, the NASU Chairman prayed that Almighty Allah forgives their shortcomings, rewards their good deeds, and grants them eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.

He also prayed for Allah to grant their families, colleagues, and the entire SUBEB family the strength and patience to bear the great loss.

NASU further assured the SUBEB management of its solidarity and support during this period of mourning, and reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the Board to sustain and build upon the legacies left behind by the late officers, in the collective effort to advance education in the state.
