AoPSHON Extends Ramadan Greetings, Calls for Prayers and Solidarity Following Market Fire Incident

The Chairman of the Association of Primary School Headteacher of Nigeria (AoPSHON), Kano State Chapter, Comrade Malam Abdussalam Sumaila, through the Secretary of the Association Comrade Bilikisu T Abdulkadir has called on Muslims to embrace the spiritual significance of Ramadan as the holy month begins.

While congratulating Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, AoPSHON members, and the wider Muslim Ummah, Comrade Sumaila noted that Ramadan is not only a period of fasting but also a season of compassion, discipline, and collective responsibility.

He encouraged members of the association to continue promoting tolarance, forgiveness awareness and professionalism within school communities throughout the fasting period.

The AoPSHON Chairman further urged citizens to intensify prayers for unity, stability, and socio-economic growth in Kano State.

Addressing the recent fire incident at Singer Market during iftar, Comrade Sumaila conveyed his solidarity with the affected traders and the state government.

He described the development as a moment that calls for collective empathy and support.

The Chairman offered prayers for divine comfort for those who suffered losses and sought Allah’s protection against future disasters.

He concluded by wishing all Muslims a spiritually rewarding Ramadan and prayed for peace and blessings upon Kano State and the nation at large.
