NASU Chairman Felicitates with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Muslims on Ramadan; Sympathizes Over Singer Market Fire

The Kano State Chairman of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU), Comrade Aminu Maikudi Gezawa, has congratulated Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, members of the union, and the Muslim community on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued at the beginning of the fasting period, Comrade Gezawa described Ramadan as a time of spiritual rejuvenation, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to service.
He urged NASU members across the state to embrace the virtues of patience, honesty, and dedication while discharging their responsibilities during the sacred month.
He emphasized that Ramadan presents an opportunity for deeper reflection, unity among citizens, and sustained prayers for peace and progress in Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.
The NASU Chairman also expressed concern over the recent fire outbreak that affected traders at Singer Market during iftar. He extended his heartfelt sympathy to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the affected business owners, describing the incident as painful and unfortunate.
He prayed that Almighty Allah grants the victims fortitude, replaces their losses, and protects the state from similar incidents in the future.
Comrade Gezawa concluded by praying for the acceptance of the fast and supplications of all Muslims and for enduring peace and prosperity across Kano State.
