In its efforts to ensure clean and Healthy environment, the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has introduced weekly environmental sanitation.
The Ag. Chairperson Hajiya Amina Umar said the weekly environmental sanitation was approved by the Management that aims at clearing and cleaning the whole premises of Board to provide conducive environment that would enhance productive service delivery.
While going round to supervise the exercise, Hajiya Amina maintained that a healthy environment has positive impact to all and sundry, therefore it is collective effort.
Hajiya Amina said that Islamic religion emphasizes the need for everyone to cleaning his body and environment to become healthy and productive.
She expressed her appreciation and satisfaction with the turn out of the staff during the exercise; then she charged the staff to maintain the good tempo.
The Director Personnel management Malam Rabiu Abdulkadir Harbau said the Board will conduct the sanitation Exercise weekly to make the environment clean, tidy and neat.
He said, beside the monthly Environmental Sanitation conducted by all the public and private sector directed by the government, the Board introduced this weekly exercise as complement to that effect.
Top management staff including Ag. Chair, Directors and their Deputies, senior and junior staff participated actively in the exercise which lasted for over two hours.
