The UBEC-SUBEB Model Smart School in Adaka, Makurdi, witnessed a massive turnout of aspiring learners as it conducted its entrance examinations for ECCDE, Primary, and Junior Secondary School levels on Saturday.
According to the Executive Chairman of Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Grace Adagba, the school offers free and quality basic education, urging parents to take advantage of the opportunity. She highlighted the school’s commitment to equipping students with 21st-century skills through modern computer gadgets and innovative teaching methods.

The UBEC State Coordinator, Mr. Idzi Baba Emmanuel, represented by Mrs. Vera Terhemen, observed the CBT and expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the examinations. She commended the collaborative efforts of SUBEB and UBEC in delivering quality education to Benue State children.
The Director of Quality Assurance at SUBEB, Mr. Hilejime Joel, affirmed the transparency of the process, stating that scores were displayed on the computer screen for all candidates to see. He assured parents that choosing the UBEC-SUBEB Model Smart School was a wise decision, emphasizing the school’s high standards and well-qualified teachers.
The Principal of the School, Dr. Peter Akpen, expressed happiness with the performance and large turnout of candidates.
