S.À CSR TO CHAMPION SCHOOL RENOVATION PARTNERSHIP

The Special Adviser to the State Governor on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Dr. Sale Wailari, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening collaborations with government agencies and corporate organizations to boost education in the state.
Dr. Wailari made the declaration at a stakeholders’ meeting on the finalization of the Public–Private Partnership (PPP) policy, organized by PLANE and held at Tahir Hotel, Kano.

He explained that CSR and PPP share common ground, particularly in creating sustainable solutions to developmental challenges facing communities. According to him, education will remain a top priority in line with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s vision of revitalizing the sector.
“Considering the importance the present administration attaches to education, my office will give special priority to initiatives that support the sector,” Wailari said.

He revealed that his office has already reached out to education authorities to identify schools in need of urgent intervention, with the aim of linking them to companies willing to support renovation and other developmental projects.
Dr. Wailari assured that through strategic CSR engagements, more private sector contributions will be directed towards improving the learning environment across State
