Kano Moves to Boost Education Through Public-Private Partnership

The Director General of KanInvest, Dr. Naziru Halliru, has emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships (PPP) as a vital tool to drive community development and improve the education sector.

Speaking at the Kano State PPP Education Policy Finalization Workshop organized by the PLANE program at Tahir Guest Palace, Kano, Dr. Halliru said the government is committed to working with private investors to uplift the standard of living and promote sustainable growth.

“Education is one of the key areas where collaboration is urgently needed, and we must design a robust framework to strengthen the sector at all levels,” he stated.

While acknowledging the efforts of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration in improving education, the DG stressed that more private sector participation is essential to achieve greater success.

 

He further assured stakeholders of KanInvest’s readiness to collaborate with organizations, government agencies, and private companies to enhance the wellbeing of communities across Kano State.
