The Executive Secretary, Kano State Hospitals Management Board, Dr. Mansur Mudi Nagoda, has approved the suspension of a doctor from the O and G unit of Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital with immediate effect.
The suspension was as result of negligence by the doctor for leaving his duty post for the whole night of Monday 31st July 2023 as contained in press release issued by the Board Spoke person Samira Sulaiman
Dr Nagoda announce the suspension after he paid an unscheduled visit to the facility at around 12midnight and left around 5am, and found the doctor absent from his duty through out the period adding that all avenue to reach him proved abortive.
The Executive Secretary lamented that after the suspension of some doctors on Monday, he expected changes from doctors and nurses in other facilities by taken their jobs seriously, but uunfortunately in less than 24hours a doctor has repeated the same habit.
He called on all chief medical Directors/Zonal Directors of other facilities to be vigilant as the board from now would not condole any form of negligence from any health personnel.
