The Nigeria Union of Public Service Reportorial, Secretarial, Data Processors and Allied Workers (NUPSRAW) has expressed its profound appreciation and gratitude to the Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his significant decision to recruit 7,688 new teachers to strengthen the education sector in the state.

The Union noted that this move demonstrates the Governor’s commitment, passion, and determination to revitalize the education system, particularly in primary and junior secondary schools.

It further stated that the recruitment of such a large number of teachers will greatly help in reducing overcrowding in classrooms and improving the quality of teaching and learning.
In a statement, the State Chairman of the Union, Yahaya Yakubu Umar, commended the Governor for his foresight and dedication to educational development, emphasizing that such an initiative deserves recognition and support from all citizens of the state.

Similarly, the Chairman of the Union’s SUBEB branch, Mu’azu Magaji, highlighted the need for the state government to also consider recruiting non-teaching staff, including report officers, secretaries, computer operators, and data processing personnel, to address the existing gaps in administrative operations.

The Union therefore called on the Kano State Government to give due consideration to this request and approve the recruitment of such personnel to ensure efficient administrative management within SUBEB and schools across the state.

In conclusion, the Union reaffirmed its full support for the state government in all efforts aimed at improving education and enhancing the overall well-being of the people.
