Executive Chairman Malam Yusuf Kabir Urges Community Involvement in Securing Basic Education Schools

In a bid to ensure the safety and security of students and staff in basic education schools.

The Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Malam Yusuf Kabir, has called on community members to collaborate with security agencies.

This appeal was made in a statement released by the Deputy Director of Public Relations, Balarabe Danlami Jazuli.

Malam Kabir emphasized the importance of community involvement in securing schools, stating, “Security is a collective responsibility, and we must work together to protect our schools.”

The Executive Chairman specifically urged community members to collaborate with Vigilante Groups, partner with Neighborhood Security Watch, engage with other security agencies.

He noted that community involvement will enhance surveillance and monitoring Provide early warning systems for potential threats and foster a sense of ownership and responsibility among community members

Malam Kabir assured the public that SUBEB is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students.

He commended the efforts of security agencies and community members already contributing to school security.
