The Chairman of the Primary School Head Teachers Association has commended the people of Sarmako community in Albasu Local Government Area for providing a bicycle to the Head Teacher of the newly established primary school in the town.

The commendation was made by the Chairman of the Association, Comrade Malam Abdussalam Sumaila, through the Association’s Secretary, Comrade Bilki T. Abdulkadir, who described the gesture as a significant contribution toward improving education in the area.
She noted that the provision of the bicycle will greatly ease the transportation challenges of the Head Teacher, enabling him to effectively carry out his daily responsibilities and oversee the activities of the school more efficiently.

Comrade Bilki T. Abdulkadir further emphasized that cooperation between communities and nearby schools plays a vital role in strengthening the education system.

According to her, schools are an integral part of the community, and their development requires the active support and participation of the people they serve.

She added that when communities take ownership of schools within their locality by offering support and assistance, it boosts the morale of teachers and school administrators, encouraging them to work with greater commitment and dedication.

The Association therefore called on other communities to emulate the good example set by the people of Sarmako, noting that such support would significantly contribute to the development of education and the creation of a more conducive learning environment in primary schools.
